About the Instructor: Kelly Gearhart
Gearhart is currently working on an office building seeking LEED Gold certification, a public school seeking LEED Silver certification, the successful adoption of Local Government Toolkits supporting California’s carbon reduction goals, and the development of green building courses for the University of California, Berkeley.
Across the U.S. and internationally, Gearhart has served as the LEED project administrator on 22 LEED projects and as a consultant on over 65 LEED projects for clients including Atlanta Public Schools, IKEA, The Lovett School, Southwest High School, Southface Energy Institute, Georgia Institute of Technology, W.W. Grainger, Philips Arena, Callaway Gardens, and the YMCA. Gearhart has worked on projects ranging from LEED Certified to LEED Platinum using rating systems including LEED for new construction and major renovations, existing buildings: operations and maintenance, schools, core & shell, commercial interiors, homes and retail.
