PRESS RELEASE: EIA Teams Up with the Green Living Center to Bring Quality Construction Products and Education to the Public

SACRAMENTO, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--As more people become interested in the health of their indoor environments and the overall cost savings of green building, the Environmental Institute of America (EIA) Inc. and the The Green Living Center have announced a partnership to meet the growing environmental and educational needs of the public.

The Green Living Center and EIA provide a partnership that gives professionals and residents a place to experience green building products first hand and access educational opportunities all under one roof. EIA's courses and workshops will be available from March 29th on location at the Green Living Center classroom. Available courses include EIA’s LEED® (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) courses and EIA's Sustainability Incentives workshop, a workshop that helps students maximize the financial benefits of sustainable design.

“The Green Living Center is a wonderful resource for the public to gain invaluable tools and know-how,” said Alex Thatcher, CEO of Environmental Institute of America. “We are excited to partner with a company so committed to quality sustainable products and extend that knowledge to all of our students.”

“I have found that the weakest link in green building has been sufficient education,” said the Green Living Center's Managing Director Josh Daniels. “As a valued partner, EIA bridges that void and provides comprehensive understanding of the benefits of green building.”
