If you are not already working on LEED projects or in the field of sustainability, attendance of a green building class is required for eligibility to take the Green Associate exam.  Upon completion of the course, you will receive a digital Certificate of Completion for use on your exam application.

Prerequisites

A Great Place to Start

There are no prerequisites for taking the LEED Green Associate workshop.   The class is designed to be useful to both those new to sustainability as well as practicing green professionals seeking deeper insight into LEED.

Furthermore, taking EIA’s LEED Green Associate Workshop fulfills the requirements necessary for taking the LEED GA exam.  EIA provides you with a digital certificate of completion for inclusion on your exam application.

To be eligible to take the LEED Green Associate exam, you must have one or more of the following:

  • Documented involvement on a LEED-registered project
  • Employment in a sustainable field of work (subjectively determined by GBCI)
  • Completion of an education program that addresses green building principles
