Pro-Tip 2: Take a Class

We suppose you saw this one coming from an insitute that offers green building classes.  The advice is still good as gold, however, and the GBCI agrees.  In fact, if you are not already a LEED AP or working in a focused field of sustainability - taking a class is required to apply for the Green Associate exam. EIA's Green Associate classes not only qualify you to take the exam, the are an essential way to help you pass the first time.
Classes not only reduce the time it takes to study for the exam,  they help provide a big picture perspective on LEED and key direction on how you should approach the test.  LEED reference manuals contain hundreds of pages and cover massive amounts of diverse material.   An 8 or 16 hour course can save hours in studying less relevant topics.  EIA classes also provide perpsective on real-world green building practices, providing practical value well after you've passed the exam.

Generally, individuals who do not follow a structured program of study do not often pass on their first attempt.
EIA students, however, have a pass rate that exceeds 90%.   EIA's classes come with full study kits - including practice exams, study guides and more.  Our classes not only provide these materials, they will show you how to use them for maximum effectiveness.
