PrerequisitesLEED AP Exam PrerequisitesAcquiring the LEED AP BD+C exam has two prerequisites:
LEED Green AssociateIf you are not a legacy LEED AP, you must have a LEED Green Associate credential to receive the LEED BD+C. The LEED Green Associate and LEED BD+C exams are designed to be taken back-to-back, and candidates often attempt them this way. EIA LEED AP Boot Camps rapidly prepare you for both exams - and can also save you money! Learn more. LEED ExperienceTo take the LEED AP BD+C exam, you must have previous experience with a LEED Registered Project within three years of your application submittal date. This work experience must be documented and submitted during the application process. Usually, this is a letter of attestation from a supervisor, client, or project manager.
