EIA was founded in 2009 by a seasoned team of entrepreneurs, educators, and environmental specialists with the purpose of becoming the first and best nation-wide center for environmental education.
As unprecedented federal support is addressing the challenges of unemployment and climate change, a new “last mile” problem looms: helping contractors and building professionals to take advantage of the available incentives to re-start their businesses and refresh their skills to address the emerging environmental markets. EIA recognizes that new environmental regulations, incentives, and technology will create perpetual change in the building and trade industries. We are dedicated to helping green building professionals to rapidly adapt to changing times for both their success, as well as the success of their communities.
A Model Private-Public Partnership
EIA is privately backed by Advance Ventures, a co-investment venture fund comprised of proven entrepreneurs, investment bankers, and venture capitalists. EIA also partners with material and service corporations, non-profit organizations, and local governments to provide training that delivers jobs, improves communities, and changes lives in a positive way.
